underwhelming service mars otherwise decent hotel

slow check-in strange smell
the check-in process was surprisingly slow. several staff members stood around. only one person handled check-ins. i waited about 10 minutes, and nobody seemed to notice me. the room had an odd smell (i couldn't quite place it). staff acted oblivious to the problem. i reminded me of i was bothering them by bringing it up.

the hotel is situated at the top of bluewaters. the rooms are spacious and equipped with amenities. the pool area has many sun loungers and cabanas.
the reception check in process was not good. i had to wait a long time. the room had a parking garage view.

the hotel staff greeted me with a smile everywhere. the room itself was very clean. i found the garden rooms to be a highlight..
i noticed a strange smell upon entering my room. i requested it to be checked but it was not addressed. the seaside seating area had very limited chairs, so it was not comfortable..
